Keep your valuables safe and secure
Recently, a Macbook Air was stolen from the President’s Emerging Scholars program. It appears that two people were involved in the theft - one person distracted a staff person by asking the staff person to pick up a package in another room. When the staff person left, the second person entered the room and took the computer. A similar incident happened in Appleby Hall. Please remember that your valuables - purses, wallets, laptops, etc. - should be stored securely and do not leave items unattended.
Learn how to cook for your health
There’s no doubt that what we put into our bodies impacts how we feel. Healthy habits and balanced diets are important to ensure that our bodies can properly function.
Beginning in spring 2015, the University will be offering a new wellness course, “Healthy Foods, Healthy Lives - Cooking for Wellness.” Led by professional chefs, the seven-week course will help you improve your cooking skills, learn new techniques, hone your recipe adaptation and troubleshooting skills, and develop healthy cooking and eating habits.
