NSLDS error coming to resolution

Starting July 22, 2022, an error with the National Student Loan Data System (NSLDS) prevented files from being sent out to colleges and universities across the country, including UMN. An immediate decision was made by OSF and ASR-IT to cease additional packaging and turn off accept/decline of financial aid for any students across the UMN system not packaged in the large batch processes that had already taken place.

Files from NSLDS began arriving again on August 10, but manual processing was necessary to successfully import the data. The decision was made on August 11 to resume packaging and turn back on accept/decline of financial aid as we were nearing the dates of disbursement for some UMN campuses. As of August 22, the files are arriving normally and are being processed in the nightly batch. Although some files we sent prior to August 22 are still being resolved by NSLDS.
