One Stop Student Services will move out of its Williamson Hall service center location later this summer. After analyzing its traffic volume since last August, it has become apparent that a majority of students stop by with questions or concerns for Graduate Student Services and Progress (GSSP) rather than One Stop.
After the One Stop center in Williamson has closed, all visitors to 160 Williamson will be able to enter through the front doors during business hours or check-in with a staff member at the front desk to reach their party. GSSP will also continue to serve graduate and professional students at the Williamson Hall location. A plan is being developed to address staffing needs to accommodate the needs of both in-person graduate and professional student services and other visitors to 160 Williamson.
One Stop has done an outstanding job of supporting GSSP, as well as the rest of the Williamson Hall staff during the past year, and their work is much appreciated.
A transition and external communication plan is being developed, and the transition is expected to be finalized by the end of July. Additional updates regarding this change will be published in future issues of News & Notes and PBED Digest.
