The Live Like a Student (LLAS) committee has been working hard with the ASR Communications Team to revamp its Welcome Week presentations. Featuring a new game show format (based on Who Wants to be a Millionaire?), more than 5,000 incoming students will learn quick tips about credit cards, tuition, transportation, campus jobs, and textbooks.
In an effort to increase student participation in financial literacy conversations, students will be hosting the game show. Prizes for participants include Ramen (a quick, easy, and cheap meal!), LLAS sunglasses, and LLAS fanny packs. Students will also be advised to follow us on Facebook for a chance to win future prizes by participating in financial literacy efforts at the University.
