During the past six weeks, ASR staff raised more than $400 in gift cards for the Student Parent Help Center and donated four large bags of new toys for Toys for Tots. And the giving didn't stop there. ASR staff also filled three heavy grocery bags and donated $40 in cash for Second Harvest and gave 11 big boxes of recycled items (e.g. towels, blankets, newspaper) to the Animal Humane Society.
Additionally, on Saturday, January 11, 21 One Stop staff members volunteered to bag, pack, and label food at Second Harvest. One Stop was part of a larger group that helped pack 6,435 pounds of oatmeal and pasta during a two-hour period.
