Organics recycling from the ASR Suggestion Box

A recent submission asked about the possibility of adding a compost bin in Williamson Hall. After further research, we have found that Facilities Management (FM) is currently rolling out an organics recycling program to all UMN-TC over the next two years. With this implementation, the quad system will transition to one bin each for trash, can/bottle recycling, paper, and organics. Once implemented, it will be the responsibility of each person to empty their desk-side bin into the appropriate quad bins. An ETA has not yet been set for ASR buildings. We will give updates as we learn more.
