Help the U conserve energy

The University of Minnesota’s Facilities Management team is asking the University community to reduce the U’s monthly energy bill and carbon footprint by conserving energy as summer heats up. Their tips:

• Turn off unnecessary lights
• Close shades or blinds that allow direct sunlight (not a big problem in Williamson)
• Reduce the use of non-essential equipment, including: radios, fans, microwaves, cell phone chargers, etc.
