Sending communications about the start of spring semester

Around the start of each semester, the Communications team sends out key messaging to students, faculty, and staff to support a smooth start to the term. We target these messages to specific groups at specific times. Here are a few highlights of what we’re sending this spring:

• Reminders to students about the first day of attendance policy, the 13-credit policy, billing statements, registration dates, One Stop hours, and an encouragement to capture their class schedule ahead of time. We deliver this information through email, MyU, and student newsletters as appropriate.
• Reminders to instructors about the first day of attendance policy, grades, class schedules and rosters, and classroom resources.
• Reminders to staff about extended One Stop service hours, scheduling and classroom support, and encouragement to help faculty with rosters and class locations.
