G Suite updates: Sharing folders in shared drives

Users with a manager role can now share folders in shared drives. This will allow teams to more easily store, access, and collaborate on files. With this update, users will be able to share a specific folder with other users. They will also be able to upgrade member access to provide users with additional permissions on specific folders within shared drives. Additionally, the ‘commenter role’ will be available for folders in My Drive as well. This feature will be available for all domains and users with shared drives.
