This week’s ASR Staff Engagement Survey 4/8/2021 examines Slack and how we use it. Thank you for continuing to share your stories and experiences.
The results of the March 25th survey indicated that a slim majority (52.5%) are currently satisfied with their work/life balance. There were similar findings when asking about control over your work day, with 55% reporting that they are always or almost always in control over their work day, followed by 45% reporting that they are sometimes in control or not often or rarely in control over their work day. Most respondents reported having a hard time saying “no” to requests at work (40%), followed by 37.5% saying they sometimes have a hard time saying “no”, and 22.5% reporting that they do not have a hard time saying “no” to requests at work.
